My Journey:

As a passionate science fiction writer, I am currently crafting what I hope to be my debut novel, exploring uncharted worlds and innovative ideas that challenge the boundaries of imagination and storytelling. My journey in this realm of creativity has led me to draw inspiration from countless sources, including the depths of the universe, the intricacies of technology, and the rich tapestry of human experience, including my own.

I aim to weave intricate narratives that not only entertain but also provoke thought and encourage readers to reflect on what it means to be human in a rapidly changing universe. Each character will embark on unique quests, face formidable obstacles, and ultimately evolve in ways that resonate with our own life journeys. Through this novel, I hope to ignite the same passion for exploration in my readers that fuels my writing process.

My name is L.A. Porter! While I have always been a writer for as long as I can remember, my more recent five-year military experience has given me a new lens through which to write science fiction, grounding my narratives in real-life experiences and insights. Having held a top secret/ SCI clearance level has allowed me to infuse my writing with elements that reflect both the extraordinary and covert world I've known, and it has also allowed me to incorporate real-world intricacies and processes into my writing. Writing has always been my passion, but I also express my creativity by writing and recording my own music.
