My Journey:

As a passionate science fiction author, I am currently crafting my debut novel, exploring uncharted worlds and innovative ideas that challenge the boundaries of imagination and storytelling. My name is L.A. Porter! While I have always been a writer for as long as I can remember, my more recent five-year military experience has given me a new lens through which to write science fiction, grounding my narratives in real-life experiences and insights. Having held a top secret/ SCI clearance level has allowed me to infuse my debut novel with elements that reflect both the extraordinary and covert world I've known, and it has also allowed me to incorporate real-world intricacies and processes into my writing. Writing has always been my passion, but I also express my creativity by writing and recording my own music.
